If you voluntarily submit material, the project may receive the file, any email address and description you provide, the submission timestamp, and a submission reference number. Infrastructure providers may generate ordinary operational logs.
Submitted files are stored in a private AWS S3 bucket with public access blocked and server-side encryption enabled. Access is intended to be limited to persons administering the project and infrastructure providers acting in support of the service.
NOVA Due Process intends to treat identifiable submitted materials as non-public and to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. Identifiable materials will not be intentionally published without separate permission, except when disclosure is required by law, reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or safety, or otherwise expressly authorized by the submitter.
Submissions may be reviewed to understand due-process experiences, identify procedural themes, verify public information, communicate with the submitter, and develop de-identified or aggregated educational material.
Materials may be retained while relevant to the project, verification, legal obligations, or preservation of records. Reasonable deletion requests may be sent to Info@NOVA-DueProcess.com, subject to legal preservation duties and backup limitations.
Logged-in users may create a sanitized text copy of an uploaded document. Automated identification of personal information is a review aid and may miss information or flag information that does not need to be removed. The user is responsible for reviewing and editing the scrubbed copy before sharing or publication. Original uploads remain private and are not exposed through the public-document endpoint.
